I just had the mud flaps installed by my dealer. $79.00 installed with tax. They were $55.00. I just got my car a few weeks ago and they told me they were giving ma a better price on the flaps. So I took them up on it while they were feeling generous. The flaps pictured are the same ones I got, and they really do look good, and blend in well with the car.

I ordered them and brought them to my dealer before I took possesion of the 2008 I just purchased. I received an early Christmas present from the dealer.....no charge to install the mud guards. I suggested they keep some in stock and they told me they couldn't get them.
They should order from the "store" great service.

Danny *is* the PriusChat shop and he just told you he would. Contact him for how much the extra shipping is.

The mudguards look great and do keep the car cleaner. They're on my current Prius. I'd install them on any future Prius I owned.

The ansver from the Prius Shop was:

Hello! Thanks for visiting the PriusChat Shop. Unfortunately, we are not
shipping outside of the US at this time. We apologize for the
disappointing news and hope the future will provide another opportunity
for us to revisit international shipping.

    Thanks again for your interest!

I going to order the mud flaps today for my 08 black prius. How much drilling do you have to do and how do you minimize rust potential at the drilled holes?

    Bill,

If I recall correctly, there are two holes to drill, one on each side. Also, the rust potential is zero as the part you have to drill through is plastic. The hole is for the rear flaps.

I've had no problems whatsoever with mine since I installed them over a year ago. I'm sure they have saved me many dings and scratches. Well worth the 45 minutes or so to install.

That's good to hear; I was assuming I'd be drilling metal. Thanks for the info. By the way, my wife and I traveled to N.C. this fall and discovered Boone for the first time; great area and town. Next time we go I'll spend a lot less on gas, making even a better trip!

I ordered the mud guards from the PC shop already. Can't wait to get them on.

I got my mud guards on EBay and they are great. They are still available. Just do a search on EBay for "Prius mud guards" and you can find them for $39.99. I highly recommend them.

Did you just install the flaps for the front only or did it come with the rear set as well? Do you have any pics of your Prius with the flaps?

I made a phone call to my local Toyota dealer and they said that the Mud guards for the 2008 Prius is not yet available. I am not sure why, but I am wondering if those mud guards sold online are OEM.

I called my Toyota dealer today about the mudflaps and was told the same thing. I was told that mudflaps aren't available for the 2008 Prius.
