    Hello All,

I'm a fairly new Prius Owner. Bought mine December 1st last year. So far I am very impressed with it. My last tank was 50 mpg, calculated. The MFD stated 46 mpg. Question....Has anyone seen what effect that mud flaps have on the mpg. One of the few things I don't like about the Prius is behind the rear wheels. It gets dirty quickly. I am thinking about getting the set from Coastaletech.

    Thanks,

    Rick

effect of mudflaps on mpg is practically nonexistent. go ahead and pick em up. depending on where you're located, you should be able to pick them up at your local dealer and not pay shipping.

Seroiusly, the mud guard benefit isn't worth the MPG worry. I also removed the trim rings and I don't see any difference.
