Moonglow or Summer Rain

I have Summer Rain and absolutely love it. One of the things I love best about it is that there are not a bunch of other cars like mine out and about. It makes people stop and check it out. It is just a nice pretty color. There are a million white cars everywhere! Of course I am slightly biased because I have the Summer Rain.. however I will say that if I ever wanted a white car- Moonglow would be the way to go. Although you can't see it just passing by, it has the coolest green shimmer to it when you look at it the right way. But you have to really stop and look at it to see it. IMHO

Personally, mine in summer rain is on it's way, and if Blue Streak is what you really want than I'd wait. A lot of people are waiting 6 weeks or more for their cars. When I get my car, from when I signed for it, should be about 8 weeks.

If you want just any color because you want a Prius C now, than it depends if you want color or not. Like BG said, I love the summer rain because it's different and gorgeous. It will get attention, vs just white. However, white is the easier color to keep clean (seems backwards doesn't it?). I've had white cars before and it's great for the cleanliness factor!

I have the Moonglow and I absolutely LOVE it. I have to agree though, that with a purchase this big, wait and get exactly what you want. In a few years time (when you're still driving and loving your Prius C), 6-8 weeks will not seem like much of a wait at all. My fear with the Summer Rain is that it will be like those powder blue VW Beetles in the 70's...they're only cool in retrospect. (Don't jump on me...just my 2 cents worth)
I agree that white is omnipresent...but I'm a purist, I love white cars and black cars. Black is the most difficult to keep clean; white the easiest, IMO. Good luck and enjoy...

Wait and get the color you really want.

I'd go for the Moonglow White, similar to the Blizzard Pearl. I park on the street and in the sun so the white keeps it slightly cooler (my solar panel and cooling system really do that job) and it doesn't fade as other colors do when in the sun a lot.

If Toyota had that metallic green from a couple years ago, I would have gotten that.

 

I totally agree, that if you are planning to love and keep your car for a long time then wait and get exactly what you want.

Just in case you didn't try this, you can actually use 'build your Toyota' tool on toyota web site and on the last step of configuration they have "locate a vehicle" button.
Which basically show's you all PCs around in order of how they match the car you configured.

I was lucky and found exact match within 45 miles from my home.

 

Glad to hear you're getting exactly what you want! I almost jumped on a silver too that was coming 4 weeks earlier than my summer rain, but decided that in the end I wouldn't be happy.

Picked up Moonglow yesterday,,,,because that's was only color & only car on Prius C II........I did wanted the Summer Rain, they said 2-3months wait time.
