My new-to-me '15 Pip must be an early Monday morning car... effect of too much Sake? Both vents to HV battery cooling fans have no filter on them. The left one everybody knows about. Here's the right one, closer to the floor.

Do you guys wrap some filter material around this one?

i don't recall reading about it, but some people use thin a/c foam filter material from a hardware store.
maybe a previous owner removed them, thinking they block airflow.
i've never looked at mine, because i don't carry shedding pets, children or anything else that would need filtering.

My Prius gen 3 hv fan intake looks nothing like yours. You must have a special edition Prius that no one has!
