Mini road trip up the Cali coast-Happy 4th

    Prius v fully loaded, dogs, wife & luggage. Car ran like a champ; cruising with traffic; sometimes leading the pack.

    Took a little over 6.5 gal fuel. I top off until I see fuel at spout. First click was 3.5 gal or so.

    I hear all the time on this site of people trading in a BMW for a Prius, I have a liftback I get 60mph here in Chicago we seam to always take it instead of the Suv..................

    Back home. Roundtrip was 775 miles average mpg was 41.0. Not bad considering car was loaded and I took the grapevine home (real steep hill/climb). I was driving between 75-84 mph on way home.
