** Edit - Not using this anymore: Seat bottom too long, seatback to short **

Purchased at Pep Boys (our biggest auto parts stores in SF Bay Area), $76 w/ tax, 1 seat, part # 63014 Interiors By Masque

    Interiors By Masque

    Pics below.

    Pros:
    * Inside tag says genuine leather
    * Inside leather seams covered preventing dye color transfer
    * Nice upgrade in feel and softness over fabric seat, at least for me
    * Low cost, $76 , can buy only 1 seat unlike bundled rows for custom fit
    * Can return up to 90 days after purchase (Pep Boys policy)

    Cons:
    * Fit is not so great: seat bottom too short, seatback bit too long
    * Left side covers height, seatback controls (cannot tuck into trim piece. Non issue for me)
    * No breakaway seam for airbag deployment (see picture below and my plan to deal with it)
    * Covers seatback pocket
    * Non-perforated seating area. Not sure that's a con.
    * Has an odor but not the pleasant smell usually with leather. Hmm
    * Only comes in light Gray, Tan, Black, much lighter than my Dark Gray (for now don't care)
    * Cannot pull flap through to connect to back of seat fabric (Prius seat has fabric panel blocking)
    * Can connect hooks from flap to foundation springs, but it's tough to reach under seat
    * Seatbelt latch arm obstructs side panel, just have make do
    * Headrest cover baggy on sides
    * Clamps for hem elastic cord are cheap and one failed on the Black cover (I shored the loops up with zip ties, gotta love zip ties)

Airbag slit in left side of driver's seat in thin fabric area, not leather area. Plan to estimate what size hole to allow airbag deployment, cut hole with cover on seat. Done it before with cheapo fabric covers.

Haha, looks worse in pics than it feels. Will have to do til time is right for a set of Clazzios. For a one-size fits all, it could be much worse.

So wait, it's $76 for one seat? So you're dropping $152 if you want both front seats covered.
Presumably, there's no option for the rear bench... They don't look all that great either since they're a universal fit.

I'd just spend the extra and get the Clazzios right off.

Nah, only covering one for now. Will get Clazzios when able. Talked to Clazzio.com , said front row would be $350 + ship , so just get the set (think it's $550 for Prius).

Perf Leather Clazzios are $449 for Prius. The full PVC and Suede ones are cheaper.

Yeah, that's the point now, but it protects the OEM fabric seat and feels better at least to me.

So if anyone knows of a good Prius custom fit for driver's seat only with at least leather insert, for under a hundred, speak up.

    Used set?

and btw, 'bout all of those $20, $30 one size fabric or PVC bag covers look far worse.

My son just totaled my 05 prius. It had 2000$ aftermarket leather seats front and rear that are perfect in tan. Way better quality then the stock leather and has side airbags. Call Geico and see what wrecker bought the car, SF bay area. All out of Mikes auto body Concord.

I hope you son is fine after the accident. Suggestion is appreciated, but I've no interest in seats out of a 2nd generation Prius, been there, done that. Good for tensing long legs and if tall, ducking down a lot to see.

even has its own eHow page how much it sucks (I didn't write it) ...

Taking a gamble. Pic for insurance purposes.

    camera 479.jpg

Little carried away cutting, but who knows if big enough.

    camera 480.jpg

Bought sideless vinyl cover at dealer yesterday. If anyone knows of these in leather, lemme know. Google search turned up nothing.

If you want clazzio seat covers, I got mine from the Car ID website. I paid $285 for the PVC ones. The leather inserts covers are $450. They didn't charge shipping and I got my seats in about 4 business days.

$76 here, some cash there and another one in leather and you'll have spent enough for a low-end Clazzio with proper airbag stitching that isn't an eyesore.
