    Hi all,

I've recently picked up a 2002 1st gen Prius and have rebuilt the battery pack. Prior to the battery rebuild the Multi display was working (ish). However, after reinstalling the pack, the display is now showing the Japanese factory inspection screen as per the attached images. I've tried pressing both buttons and at the bottom and the screen, but ot just seems to reload. Does anyone know how I can get out of this screen?

PS: I have a working tech stream cable. But the there does seem to be an issue with viewing the diagnostic codes as the dash display is flashing DCs while none are shown in the tech stream application. Not sure if this is related.

Ok so I found what was causing the problem, I'd mixed up the grey gateway connector with the white Prius multi display connector (as per the attached image). Once I swapped them the multi display started up normally. I should also add that the ABS light was flashing and throwing codes C1571 and C1572. Which was remedied once I plugged in the correct connectors.

Glad you were able to fix the problem. I’m surprised that the two plugs could interchange. Seems like a poor engineering decision! Or is there something else here that I’m not comprehending (highly probable!)?
