Haven't had any issues with my 2010's display/map before, but now it's randomly throwing an error of "no map DVD".

My guess is that it's the heat as is getting quite hot in SoCal.

But, is it the unit or something else like a fuse?

    Anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks

There's likely error codes for this that could give more info.

I don't know if it works for Gen3 Prius, but in Gen2 Prius you can access those error codes by holding down the Info button and turning the headlights on and off three times.

But in general a DVD-based navigation system that is a dozen years old is totally worthless compared to what you get from Apple and Google based maps that update in real time to reflect traffic, detours and construction-related changes to the road system.
