The dates/miles in the "Maintence Display" window for my Prius are ALL blank. I am not sure if the dealer was supposed to set them for me or not. My questions are: 1) The date or mileage that the display asks for - Are they the date/mileage at time of renewal? OR the date and mileage when it should alarm you about it? I guess what I am trying to ask is... lets say you put 5K miles in for the oil change, will it remind you after EVERY 5000 miles or just when the car hits 5K miles (at which case you'll have to go in and set it further manually)? 2) I only have 140 miles on the car so far (got it brand new a few days ago). What is the recommended mileage for oil/oil filter changes on the Prius? 2K? 5K? Any particular brand of oil/filter that I should particularly favor when the time comes? 3) Presuming an answer for the questions above, I am unsure as to when the maintenance for all the other (other than oil/filter which I asked about above) various parts should occur. I figure I should know this info since I have to input it into the system manually....so, does anyone know what the dates/miles for all the service options are?
