Loud creaking over bumps & turning at low speeds please help

    New here. 2014 Prius 4 with 48K miles on odometer. Recently drove 1400 miles with some weight in the car - nothing but some heavy duffel bags and my 90 lb dog. The creaking began at the end of the trip.

    Creaking is coming from the under carriage when driving over speed bumps, as well as slowly turning the wheel when parking.

    Is this something that I should have the dealer look at, or is it okay to take my car to a local mechanic? Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Cost to repair?

    Extremely concerned…

    Sometimes the suspension will just make noises, nothing to be alarmed about. But you don't need a dealer to inspect a suspension, any good shop can do that. It's not a hybrid related item.

    I'd buy a ~$10 spray can of white lithium grease and lube all the bushings.
