I put dye in my coolant to detect leak. I put a new head gasket on a couple months ago I was leaking Coolin. I really don't think to add gasket. What's bad, but it's okay, it's replaced.
I started losing coolant again and couldn't see where it was coming from.
It's cold here in pennsylvania now, so I put the chemical in the coolant reservoir.
Last night with my black light, I noticed on the egr cooler welded seam. A straight line of dye leak. The hose had nothing around it.
This weekend, I will take it and get more access and look at it better and check all my hoses.
My question is anybody ever seen the cooler leak at the seam. I'm going to enclose a stock photo of a new one. Because the pictures last night, we're not very good. If you look at the stock picture I took from eBay welded line, it has a straight die. Detection of a w If you look at the stock picture I took from eBay welded line, it has a straight dye. Detection of a leak. Any advice

?? I don't understand what you are writing.
Did you replace the head gasket???
The egr cooler itself is leaking where it's welded?
"IF" that is what your writing, you can check online for them, and junk yards around
the country. Or, go to a welder and have him weld it

Have you had the EGR cooler out before? Did you (or someone else) maybe use a wire to help clean it? On a power drill?

I agree with @ASRDogman: a lot of your post is near unintelligible, maybe read it over, run a spell and grammar check, something.

The coolers leaking at the seam he's in Pennsylvania and it's cold there now and if it was allowed to freeze that's where the cooler would be compromised right at that scene with the snot blowed on it all the way around the cooler when it freezes it just pulls the cooler apart right there at the seams can't be seen in this picture but I'm guessing when he puts up the picture that he took of his coming apart frozen in Pennsylvania you'll see it pretty clearly oh well weld it now just trash it and go to the junkyard and pick up another one for near nothing clean it and make sure it's not leaking in been frozen and put it into service in Pennsylvania that generation 3 should be coming off the road any minute just by time and all that Is it parked in the garage everyday? Right

thanks guy's . its not really super cold here. yes i put on the head gasket and serviced the cooler 2 time's. i smelled coolant before the headgasket was replaced..i added the dye with the black light. rt at seam is a straight line. looks to be leaking.
i was busy this week. the coolant loss is slow. will get a chance tommorow to double ck, for nit to be leaking. get a used one. replace it..tks. the hoses all have no dye on them.
