I've been using Prolong chargers and dischargers and I understand they have a pro version now for around $4300 but I was wondering if there are any others out there that I should look at. I'd like to see live data that shows each module while under load.

Check out nuvant and hybrids.co.nz, both do individual module monitoring, both are more expensive than Prolong.

We plan to have individual block/module monitoring and evaluation to market later this year. It will tie in with the existing ProlongPro hardware. It will do everything the other vendors mentioned do and more for a lot less cost.

HA! I love the accountability ;). The engineers are actively working on it now. Our code base for the pro charger and discharger is in the process of being ported to a new platform that will allow integration with module level monitoring, automated cycling of the pack, and support remote software updates as well (just to name a few coming features). I don't think we'll have a prototype ready for our booth at SEMA/APEX but should be in beta testing by Christmas.

Module level data (Ah & Wh capacity) during each discharge cycle and full cycling of the pack all wrapped into a nice Android app UI. Lots of fun stuff in the works

Will there be any changes to the current range of hardware?

Or, will it just be software/additions to the current range?

Minor rework of the systems may be required, but it will (hopefully) be able to be done in the field. The current Pro Charger & Discharger will be required as key pieces of the new integrated system, they will not be orphaned at all.

Does the Pro charger/discharger support automation?

If you mean automated cycling of a pack then with the new product release/upgrade in a few months yes it will.
