Little trick to avoid double posting

    If you think your post or comment didn't go through, instead of trying again, open your profile page in a different tab (so you don't lose what you typed) and see if your post/comment is shown under "Recent activities". In all cases, when I thought a post/comment didn't go through, it was visible there.

    I copy the post, and then hit refresh after a hang up in posting. Most of the time, the post did get made. the site simply didn't load the updated thread on my end.

    I’ve been doing the ‘recent activities’ check since the beginning.
    Even that can be delayed, so you don’t want to post again until you’ve waited awhile to see if it shows up .
    I usually go to another website for a few minutes, then come back and check
