While we do have this wonderful site and each other, does anybody have an interest in making a "Linked In" group?:grouphug:
"Linked In" is a networking site for grownups. Used a lot to make business contacts it also has groups you ca join of people with similar interests.
I am on LinkedIn and have found it to be a useful way to maintain business contacts. I'm not certain how a Priuschat group would work in the traditional LinkedIn environment. However I am a moderator on another site... Internet Evolution - The Macrosite for News, Analysis, and Opinion about the Future of the Internet and we have having an "experiment with sical networking and have selected facebook as the target site. As of toady, I know pretty much nothing about facebook but perhaps that might be a better resource for such a group as it appears to be more socially oriented than LinkedIn?
Orracle: there is a Prius Pride group on LinkedIn. check out my profile - Oren Friedman - LinkedIn and look for it. I'll be happy to connect.
LinkedIn is also good if you are looking for job opportunities. I've gotten called 3 times in the last 2 month if I was looking to change jobs.
Wow, Oren--when you have time to sleep?? I asked to be admitted to the Prius Pride group and it looks like we have a link between us already.
orracle: I find LinkedIn to be a very valuable business tool - I've made lots of high-quality contacts, which have resulted in deals for my company. Plus I've hooked up with some very interesting people, just based on shared interests. My email address is listed in my profile- feel free to send me a LinkedIn invite to connect our networks. I think a PC group on LI would make lots of sense - it will allow us (those of us who are interested) to learn more about each other, and to take the PC relationship one step further.
Looks like you and I are 2 degrees separated since you are connected to two of my friends. Unless, of course, you accept my connection request. I'm pretty clueless on LinkedIn. How do I find the Prius group?
