I recently test drove a Lexus HS250h at a local Lexus test drive event. I thought the HS250h was great. Anyone else drive one? I'm considering either the Lexus HS250h or the Prius V.

    Thanks

It has the same HSD than the Camry Hybrid in a slightly smaller car (probably as heavy due to all the luxury add ons) but...
you cannot get the solar roof in the Lexus... hee, hee, hee...

...but you can leave the HS250h in neutral and power it off. (Prius automatically switches to Park upon shutdown.)

That statement makes no sense. There is no real nuetral with the HSD as the PSD is always connected.

I've driven the 250h. Luxury-wise, as you would expect, the Lexus 250h surpasses the Prius. And don't get me wrong, I love the Prius, it's just everything is taken up another notch in the 250h compared to the Prius.

If it's strictly mpg you are looking for, then you should choose the Prius. The 250h gets good gas mileage (mid 30's), but the Prius can kill it, hands down (50+).

There are plenty of other factors, too, but I guess you'd need to get to the root of what you want in a car.

Both vehicles are good choices, but for different reasons.

HS is also more fun to drive and has features optional the Prius does not. The HS also has the worlds first eco interior/trunk....

Both are great vehicles. I do like the versatility of the Prius hatch.
