I ran LED strips on the front of my C1. I've had a bunch of compliments. They are from Auto Zone and cost $30. I'll post day and night pics later tonight

Are they DTRL (Daytime running lights)?

Those are nice...I like the ones under the fog lights. How are they hooked up?

I was considering some as Daytime running lights and perhaps stop lights.

to each his own bud, but i appreciate your opinion. tacky may apply to my whole car as far as some are concerned. the skull, the fake chrome wheels, the fake wide chrome trim and the thin chrome trim, the skull valve stem caps, the led interior lights, the red led rear lights, the fake leather seat cover. i do pizza on the weekends and none of the kids there would be seen dead in a prius, be it mine or a cool one like yours or tg's or a totally blacked out one. so you may have someone next to you thinkin your car is tacky, but they probably wouldn't roll down the window and tell you so. i wasn't too sure about the chrome so maybe i'll pull it off. i don't follow this chat very often but i've seen enough to know that you're very knowledgable and very into cars, which i am not. so i value your opinion. thanks man, but, i do like my low led's so they stay. for the guy who likes it, i just ran wires to the driver's under door panel; put a switch there and ran a spare 12v wire from my triple 12v ciggy plugin. probably not the best hookup but best i could do.

Don't forget that most would think that the orange is tacky. :) But in all seriousness, the LEDs aren't bad, but the chrome is more of a personal taste and it isn't mine. Brings to mind some Mexican hoopties.

I'm not feeling those DRL's. However, the bright light color is perfect.

Personally, I hate the orange color... I think you should have gone with something a little brighter. :ROFLMAO:

Lights look great man. Nice idea to place a set of leds under the turn signal. I'm afraid of putting some at the very very bottom under the bumper area because in houston, tx there are some steep inclines for businesses and residential areas where I live and I'd be afraid of scrapping them off. But looks awesome man. Don't worry about others and there tastes, it's your car and customize it how you like it.
