I tried to search but I must not be good at searching. I just bought some LED blinkers for my tail lights and after I installed them, I'm getting a fast blinker thing like my lights are out. I know that LEDs don't draw as much power but is there anyway to fix this? Also, if I buy the Valenti tail lights that are LEDS, will I have that issue with them?

here is what I bought: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

You'd need to install a relay to correct for the fast blinking.

The Valenti turn signal LEDs already have a high power resistor in parallel to prevent hyperflashing so they'll work right out of the box. No external relay/turn signal LED canceler box needed like some of the aftermarket lights such as Crystal Eye.

oh ok. anyone know where to get a good price on the Valenti in SB? I found a place that had them for 280 plus 50 for full LED but I didn't bookmark it and I can't find it anymore. Every other place I've found has them for 400.

$330 for full LED? You must've bookmarked the cheaper Spec-D Tuning taillights, which don't look quite as nice as Valenti. The Valenti lights are on sale for $420 shipped until May 25th. $90 is worth it for the much better looking Valenti lamps and they have more LEDs/better light outputs compared to Spec-D Tuning.

And, in the 2010 Prius the turn signal relay is in the top of the dash on the driver's side. If you want to change it, the Toyota repair manual starts with taking the top of the dash off.

I've seen others claim that the relay is just above the brake pedal. Not in this case.

I assume this applies to the front turn signals also. I too went to install some LED bulbs in the front turn signals but got the fast blinking. Where is the relay for the front signals and where do I get the relay? The bulbs I got were superbrightleds 7440-A15. What LED bulbs for the front turn signal work out of the box?

I just got my LED relay from iJDMToy and will probably install this weekend.

^ the relay controls both the front and rear turn signals.

I saw a picture of the relay and it was just above the brake pedal. Guess I will find out this weekend...

Haven't seen a video of it, but why would anybody be interested in spending $1000+ for essentially the same look that you can get with a $50 vinyl overlay on the stock taillights? Get the Valenti if you want a truly unique look.

Just put those in this weekend. They have wires to resistors that require them (the wires) to run along side the bulb through the fixture hole. The clearance in the rear light fixtures was so little that the wires were severed when I locked the bulb into place. See this other thread.

They sent me up the non-load flasher relay so I was able to just cut those wires off the bulbs and run without the resistors. All is working great now.

I bought some interior LED lights from ijdmtoy. They didn't fit. I called. I emailed. I got ignored. over and over and over again. I've honestly never bought from such a horrible company before. I bought some LEDs on ebay and gave my old address by mistake. I realized it the day after and the seller sent another sent of LEDs to my correct address at no charge. Thats service. ijdmtoy is HORRIBLE.
