Knight Rider KIT effect

    I'm playing around with an Arduino to recreate the computer from the car KIT on Knight Rider for the fun of it.

    I measured the small "slit" between the upper and lower grills and cut the strip down to the appropriate length. Obviously, this would be illegal to drive around with while it's on, so I'm just having fun. I also programmed the strip to display red/blue warning flashers like police or what not.

    nope , you cant have red lights on the front of a vehicle....unless in NC it is a fire or ems....not on you DD

    That's the idea!

    I wish I could fit in those, they seem like they'd be a ton of fun. I sat in one at my local Polaris dealer and couldn't fit comfortably.

    I am wanting to do this to my Gen3 2010 III. Do you have the code available, or would it be in the arduino playground? Just asking because I was either going to do EL wire (or tape) to make a "TRON-like" vehicle out of my black beauty. Thanks! -Chris
