Keyless Entry Not Working After Actuator Replacement

    I just replaced the driver's side door lock actuator with an aftermarket model. Installation went smoothly. I'm able to lock/unlock doors using the key fob buttons. However, the driver's side door will no longer unlock by touching the door handle.
    Is there some kind of module or part in the actuator that enables this function?
    I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
