Any button press makes the little LES on the fob flash in red; is this normal for it or does that means its running low and needs to be changed?
works fine. Just the red LED tends to give feeling that its a low battwry sign. The manual just says: "If the battery is low, the LED indicator on the key surface does not turn on." And that a low key battery warning will be displayed. So i was wondering if others also noticed their keyfob LED being flash in red or does it turn green or white etc.
I've had my new Prius for less than 2 weeks. The red LED always flashes when I press a button on the key fob. Looking at the Owner's manual: and
I've had TV remotes flash a LED whenever a button was pushed. Seems this is just to let you know pushing the button did something, and it's working.
