Anybody have experience with this brand of leather seats? Know that I know it isn't cat, I am really thinking of some leather seats. Are they good and do they go on like factory leather or are they just seat covers?
Katzkin is replacement upholstery, not a slip-on cover. They are installed only by authorized dealers, not DIY. I’ve seen them in a Ram pickup. You would never know that they aren’t OE.
Interesting company that I never thought about before. All their leather appears to previously have been Brazilian beef containers. What looks like alligator seems to be cowhide also, with texture applied. Their suede is recycled polyester (which is really the best example of recycled petroleum plastics). So, get a burger and soda in PET bottle and you're part of Katzkin's supply chain. Sort of.
That's what I was thinking but hadn't seen it yet. It takes the pressure off find the exact car with just the right interior colors.
It just doesn't sound like a low cost solution. Friend got seat covers for their new Jeep, and I'd know it the first time in it.
They came with a '14 Scion iQ I purchased used. Nice two tone design I find them pretty much OEM quality, even more durable/firm feeling than SofTex that they use in Prii. REVVL V+ 5G ?
