    After a lot of Soul-searching, I decided to go for the gas mileage and buy a Prius C instead. Ordered a Two in Summer Rain Metallic! Boy, was it hard to pin down the exact color of that- finally found one dealer who pulled out his color book and let me see the paint chip. That clinched it for me! I was almost going to settle for a white one in dealer stock but they were only gonna come down $400 over the really good offer he made me on the order. There are still deals to be had but the wiggle room doens't seem to be what it is on other cars- the dealer kept insisting there wasn't much markup even after I pointed out to him I know the dealer price and invoice price.

    But the dealer was willing to work with me and has really good service so I was happy to let them have the business. So now the long wait for my ship to come in..... literally!

    Does anyone else have a summer rain metallic one? What did you think of the color when you finally got it- does it look like the picture in the brochure?

    I will be counting down the days.....:rolleyes:

    Summer Rain Metallic - you won't believe it when you see it change color under different lighting.
    Green, Teal, Blue, even kinda silvery (this last under sodium vapor lights).

    I was willing to settle for a bunch of other colors but they pretty much sold out the first day. So I ordered in February (again: Hawaii began selling Cs in mid-February) and had to wait till April 30th. SRM is worth the wait.

    I'm sure others who have SRM will chime in shortly.:)

    I have Summer Rain and bought it sight unseen. I looked at all the pics that people posted here on PriusChat too. I totally agree with Ewaboy in that it is not one specific color but changes with the light. I love it!
