    Hello everyone,

Just graduated from the Gen3 PiP Advanced to Gen4 Prime XLS and loving it. Was concerned the location of shifter would be an issue but isn't an issue at all. Ride is great, quite an upgrade from the Gen3.

    First observations:
    • Thought the XLS would have the HomeSense rear view mirror, but no? I have a Gen3, can I swap 'em?
    • No turn signals built into the side mirrors? Thought that would have been Toyota standard around 2018?
    • I'm on the short side yet find my right knee constantly hitting up against the steering wheel shaft molding.
    • The lost luggage space in the hatch is more than expected .... I use the hatch for everything.

lost luggage space was what deterred me from gen 4 and 5

I knew there was 'less' space but didn't really until this morning HOW much less. I had an entire system for the Gen3. and at a loss now for Gen4...I'll need to keep the back seats down 24/7. Gen5 also that small?

The volume(cubic feet) of all is fairly close; gen3 21.6, gen4 prime 19.8, and gen5 20.3. Issues come down to the shape of that space, with the gen4 prime being the worse from the battery just tossed into the rear. The gen5 has a lower roof and smaller hatch opening that could get in the way of packing stuff, but you can remove the floor deck and foam insert to get over 3 cubic feet of extra space.

I haven’t seen gen 5 in person, but it looks like a narrow opening.
I don’t care about cubic feet, just length, depth and opening dimensions
