Does anyone recommend/not recommend using a 20' J1772 Extension Cord?

I just had 50 amp service installed to my garage, but the EVSE I bought is about 10 feet too short for where I want to park the Prius.

On a side note, the EVSE I bought was the AmazingE Level 2 Portable Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) (NEMA 14-30 Plug, J1772 Connector, 20' Cable Reach).

The first and only time I used it yesterday it "faulted" about 10 minutes into the charge. And I got an Entune message indicating that. I unplugged and plugged back in and it finished charging about 2 hours later without further interruption.

no problems, but a 240v extension cord is a beast. make sure you get one heavy enough to carry the load.
