iOS 6.1 has fixed my iPhone 5 with iTunes Match. You can see all your music and use your phone to choose music when connected with USB. No more seeing accessory connected screen when connected with USB. Just thought I would share in case anybody didn't notice this yet.
Yep, it's working again. I noticed there's some minor bugs if you control the music directly from the iPhone/iPod. On occasion the metadata won't change but it seems fairly rare. Kind of expected since the system was designed for a locked iPhone/iPod and Apple just decided to change that whole setup. On the bonus side now at least the behavior is the same as if it were a Bluetooth only connection.
