Someone slammed into me and totaled our 2017 Prius v. We want to replace it with something very similar. Looking for a 2017, mileage under 50K. I know they're hard to come by. That's why I'm reaching out here. I went to the local Toyota dealership in Los Angeles, and they practically laughed at me when I told them what I was looking for.

The problem is Toyota made very few 2017 v's. I was looking for a new car in 2017 and could not find one on multiple lots over a period of months. The Rav4 hybrid was taking the market at the time. A 2015-2017 v is pretty much the same.

Personally, at this point I would look for a 2019 Rav4 hybrid. More space and essentially the same mpg. Far better hybrid system. Obviously the insurance settlement won't cover it.
