Just wondering if this exists. Like maybe a fan with a higher CFM for better cooling or something like that.

Not that I ever heard of. The fan runs at whatever speed is required to cool the battery to the temperature programmed into the car. So a fan with more CFM at a given RPM would simply run slower since a slower speed will cool the battery.

Plus all the cfms in the world won't reduce the battery temperature past the intake temperature. Without ac operation the intake is no cooler than ambient temperature. Which is the reason most ev batteries use water cooling.

I prefer to monitor the HV battery temperature with the Scangauge 2,

    Scan Gauge 2.JPG

The other most important parameters are the 12v battery condition, the engine water temperature and the inverter coolant temperature,

By the time you get a trouble code or other warning, the damage could have been done.

Someone could start making a hybrid battery cold air intake, or water cooled conversion kit!

I seem to recall that particular X-Guage (ScanGauge extra gauge) was Celsius only? Gets you where you want to go. (y)

Which temperature sensor are you displaying?

You can use an OBD2 reader like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/265484403768 to run phone apps that will boost your fan speed. That's the primary upgrade people use. Also some people have put a vent tube from an AC vent to the air intake for the battery. But in general if you have a hybrid battery running hot, the fan isn't going to help much until you get the bad cell in the pack that's heating up swapped out.
