I'm tired of opening the Fuel Economy forum and seeing that only the apparently immortal "Prius economy sucks" thread has been updated.

I don't know, but that would be a very nice feature. There are several threads that I just don't need to see anymore as well (the economy one included).

I'd like to be able to ignore some of the FHOP threads when I do an unread posts search. I'm not into some of the "one word", "two words", "three words", "the last poster" and "the next poster" type games. I'd love to block these from the search so I get more relevant (to me) results.

I've been asking for this since May 2005.

Sorry to resurrect this but Tivocommunity (also running vBulletin) recently added (or eanbled) the "Ignore this thread" feature. Unfortunately, you have to open the thread first before you can ignore it. It's under Thread Tools > Ignore this thread.

Is this something we can get here? I think the Clazzio threads are the first I'd start with. :) I couldn't care less about those.

I haven't read slashdot in a while, but I used to be able to filter threads by rating, and posts within threads by karma. That was *great*

Thought I'd revive this after 18 months as perhaps there's a way on the new forum software to do this. I'd sure like to be able to not see the gun and religion threads, among others.

I was about to bump this thread but see that you have already. I find ignoring certain threads on Tivocommunity to be very helpful.

For me, I couldn't care less about the Revier threads I see here but keep seeing what I go to What's New....
