We have had a lot of rain as of late, and I have found myself sliding when I am braking and my tires hit a manhole cover, or some type of metal on the road. The ABS does not seem to be chattering as I am used to on other vehicles, it seems the tire just slides over the metal. This normal?
My experience is that the ABS in the Prius is a little more aggressive (comes on sooner) than other vehicles I've owned/driven and does not "chatter". Part of this is probably due to higher inflation pressure (44/42) that I am using.
