When ordering parts, they usually dont have a classification for plug in. What generation is the 2014 PIP?

I think don't choose "Prius" as model, choose "Prius Plug-In". Depends on the site too?

ToyotaPartsDeal has nothing. Yeah, depends on the site I guess.

As indicated above the 2014 PiP is a enhanced version of a third generation Prius. The PiP Basic is equivalent to a Prius 3 and a PiP Advances is equivalent to a Prius 5. The most obvious distinction is whether the seats are cloth (basic) or simulated leather (Advanced)..

Regardless, on ToyotaOnlineParts for one, you pick a separate model: "Prius Plug-In". If you pick "Prius" you don't get anywhere. Maybe other sites are similar.

i have always had the option to pick year, make, model. can't think of a time when asked what generation. most people outside priuschat have no idea what that means, and it means different things around the world.
