Is it save to drive with P420 Cat Converter Code

    all I just got this 420 code, even I don't smoke marijuana ). I understand that it's not super critical, so I can drive it, till I will need hit my next smoke check, am I right ?

    Maybe that was a joke when they decided the code numbers :D

    If you drive long enough with that code theoretically you could get blocked catalytic converter. But if you have to check it once a year this probably won’t be a problem.
    Other problem is that driving with that code your check engine light will be on and then you don’t know if there are other problems (that would only light up the check engine light) until you read the codes.

    How much oil your Prius consumes? This could be the reason catalytic converter failed.
