Had several lights pop up last Thursday--- Check Engine, Brakes, and Hybrid System Warning light. Took it to Autozone, it read 4 codes: C0205, C1241, C1259, C1310.
Unsure if this means I need a new Hybrid battery. Car hit 280,000 miles last week, I replaced the 12v starter battery last summer. This is my first car and I've only had it about a year and a half, and I just...don't know what to do. Help.

These codes are set by the power management ECU The car is seen something it didn't like A scanner that's more capable may help you immensely You may have a code here that has a subcode and the kind of scanners that you're dealing with at AutoZone will probably not be able to scan this particular car deep enough to get those codes so it might be imperative that you get a communications device that can communicate fully with your automobile or find somebody that has one and my eyes all pri owners should have something among the lines of the AP200 or something like that It's a $58 cheap piece of insurance so that you can keep abreast of your situation you'll be surprised how many people will tell tall tales about things when they suspect you have not a clue and in this day and age it's rampant so be careful.

The car seems to be also reporting some power fluctuations to the ABS system so I would be wanting to check my 12 volt battery as that's what works the braking system in this car so even though it was replaced a year ago you want to see what you're standing voltage is at rest above 12 volts preferably that means you have 12 volts and a 12 volt system and then with the car readied. And that should produce somewhere around 13.7 to 14.5 volt sitting there ready what do you have at these two settings this is important The more capable scanner will be able to tell you if maybe there's a problem with the little black box next to the battery in the very rear of the car that's some kind of backup braking power supply or something like that. I haven't really heard of one of those going bad but it sounds like you may be suffering from the beginnings of a failing actuator You want to get that nailed down so you know if that's the case because if it is breaking pedal feel is going to change and that could cause you to panic and possibly have an accident so try and be careful you'll also be listening for a constant beep noise when the brakes lose pressure and can't keep pressure up the pedal will go kind of soft but still work somewhat and you'll need more pressure and more stopping distance so drive like that.

Trouble code C0205 is saying that there is a problem with the signal from the left front speed sensor. It could be a wiring problem, speed sensor problem, rust or corrosion problem, etc.

Trouble codes C1259 and C1310 mean that there is a trouble code that was triggered by the hybrid vehicle control ECU. The Autozone scanner that was used is not good enough to retrieve that trouble code(s). So you have additional trouble code(s) that have not been read yet. You need to find a better scan tool to read all the trouble codes. Read this thread for a comparison of a few scan tools:https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3290690
A good choice is the Autel AP200, but it is being phased out by Autel. It is still available on Amazon for $90. A month ago, it was selling for $60. Buy one while you still can. Autel is now selling the AP2500E as the updated version of the discontinued AP200, but it is not as good as the AP200.

My guess is a problem with the hybrid vehicle battery.
