    Hate it when that happens.

BTW/////Love the moonstone (bought two) but it is a color only a parent will love. Wish they made two tone red like my 55 Chevy.

The older you get the more you appreciate color in your life.

    Harvest Beige.

I wanted something "different." (Solid black made my previous cars feel too enclosed and dark.) I also like the Moonstone. Either one looks good with my white Prius.

I got the Moonstone. I like the way it looks a lot. I'm not as fond of the way it holds heat though. My back gets too hot.

That's interesting... I was thinking it might be cooler than the Black Soft Tech. Hmmm. Must just be the material. OR could it be your seat heater is turned on?

It might be too soon to tell... but can you see any signs of the Moonstone seats getting dirty?

I would go for the darkest available colour, without hesitation. Our last vehicle had sandy/cream coloured interior, it's still in the family, and looking pretty grungy. :(

Visual aid, left swatch is "Black", middle is "Harvest Beige", right swath is "Moonstone":

I got black, because it is the only interior color I think looks good.

In my opinion the beige has too many colors going on to look co-ordinated (beige, white and black). Although the moonstone theme is cohesive, the white is too light and I knew it would show dirt after a while. I sat in one at another dealership that had been used a lot as a demo. There were dirty paw prints all over the dash, door panels and the light parts of the seats. It was the soft-tech version too.

Black does make the interior cabin dark, but I like that. I plan to change out all the interior bulbs for LEDs eventually. That will brighten it up a bit. Black can make the interior hot, but with a front sunshade and cracking the windows open (with vent visors) it isn't too bad.

Black makes the 'Darth Vader' center stack look better and also makes the wrap-around dash look very unified which is cool. Reminds me of my old '85 Honda Civic. It also makes the top and central displays stand out better.

I like my black interior also. Having the vent visors does help and "cracking" open the moonroof too.

Only problem with black is that it shows every piece of dirt and every pet hair.

They should make a fabric the colour of dirt, with sporadic pet hair print.

(That's it for me, gotta up my meds!)

If the seat heater is on then it's malfunctioning. I used it once, I think, since I got the car. Living in Southern California, I don't have many reasons to use a heated seat. I think the material retains heat more than cloth. It's not a huge deal but I have to admit I have thought about getting seat covers to give me some breathing room.

They aren't getting dirty yet, but I did just use my Meguiar's Interior Detailer and clean them recently. Just a quick once over. I can totally imagine that they will get dirty in the future. But, that's life. All black just see,s like it would be unbearable in our Summers. And summer is our longest "season." We get a month of Winter, Spring, and Fall each. Then the rest of the year is Summer.

I like the look of it. I like the two-tone dash and seats. It's a personal taste thing. I felt the black was okay, too, but the moonstone looked better to me.

The downside of moonstone is the white dashboard. It doesn't glare on the windshield, but in the daytime it does glare on the side windows making it a bit harder to see the side mirrors.

Still vote for a RED car with Red and white interior and real dead cow skin.

Oh the smell of tannic acid in the morning.

    Color is personal.

To me, of the two, moonstone matches better with blue.

Beige would show stains more...not knowing what you do in the car haha (like eating French fries.).

Yet, personally I might go black with blue...have to see them all in person.

    Enjoy your decision.

Yeah that would be my combo too.

Hypersonic Red w/ Moonstone and genuine leather. I know the part about a dead cow vs. a green vehicle and why Toyota went with SofTex. I like my perforated leather in the 2010. I suppose SofTex is also easier to clean if you have kids or pets.

If the car is a Two, Harvest Beige works because of the minimal amount of white. I don't think the beige works well with the white trim so a Two's interior works well. A Four w/ Harvest Beige SofTex clashes in colour imo.

For a Touring, either black or moonstone works. Black will have blue contrast stitching and blue vent accents. Moonstone would have turquoise contrast stitching and turquoise vent accents.
