Installing my 2000w inverter today. Is there anywhere to tap into INSIDE the cabin?

Hello everyone, I’m installing my inverter today. I have a 2017 prime and a 2020 prime, and can install in either. They’re both out of warranty, over 150k miles. I spent all last week freezing with no power at home :-( also no internet and no lights. I used this exact same inverter for years in my 2012 Prius plug in, that sadly was totaled in a head on wreck. So, I know it works. I know my electrical load; 1600w start up spike on furnace fan that then settles at 600w, 24 watts for Fibre modem and router, 25w for tv, and 8w for lights. So around 660w total. The 2012 had 295k miles and hundreds of hours of inverter use, all on the original yellow top 12v battery. So I’m not worried about the inverter damaging 12v or high voltage battery. And I know 100% that my setup works, at least with gen3 trunk battery location. Here are my questions…?

    1) is there anywhere in the cabin of a Prime that I can wire the positive cable leading to the inverter? Ie, is there a gps system or stereo amp I could disconnect, and use its’ power supply? Maybe a seat heater?

    2) assuming I must go directly off the 12v battery positive terminal, what is the skinniest gauge cable/wire I can safely use? I’m just trying to get the inverter in the cabin, with the shortest run possible, and am thinking of placing it in the passenger foot well, velcro’ed to the fuzzy upholstery. Currently it has 24”, super thick 0awg or 1awg wire, the diameter of a bratwurst basically, that is way too thick to sneak through the firewall or under the door trim. Again, this isn’t for a once in a blue moon camping trip, this will be for heavy use at approx 660w.

    3) again, assuming I have to wire the inverter positive straight off the 12v battery, where is a good place in the cabin to wire the ground?

I am very aware of, and have read through and commented on, the lengthy post re a dude who paid an installer in San Diego to put an inverter in his trunk. Sadly I couldn’t get the info I seek from that post. I’m pretty sure he said his uses 8awg for the positive, and it must be 10ft of cable to get the whole way back to his trunk cleanly through all the door trim.

Just FYI, I installed it with my fat 0awg cables directly to the battery on my 2020 prime last week. It worked great, and I just left the hood cracked open and rested the inverter in the engine bay. In a snowstorm, that would be fine. But, I need to be able to instantly drive away in this car, as the power is being shut off due to high winds and “fire weather”… meaning I need to be ready to evacuate ASAP, and wouldn’t have time to disconnect the inverter.
