Has anybody installed the new style LED bulbs in Prius v?
I have a wonderful 2012, and have purchased from Amazon the
    Q36-H11 LED (Oxilam) low beam.
Newest lamps are supposed to install directly without electric wire pigtails or glue-in bracket.
Intend to order the Oxilam 9005/H9 LED (HB3) for high beams.
Anybody with experience or comments welcome to give me suggestions????

LED capsules tend to work well with projector lens housings, much better light output pattern control than with reflector housings. We use LED high beams and they complement the OEM LED low beams in the v Five.

If the v is like the liftback, it uses projector lenses for the low beams, but just reflectors for the high beams.

The 2012 v Five has projector optics for both high (OEM halogen) and low (OEM LED).

I have a 2015 and the high beams run at 50% and are my DRL's during the day by default (base model two trim) and those plug in LED replacement bulbs DO NOT like being run at 50% and likely will fail immediately or flicker crazy, or just not light, or something else weird.
