    Hello all,

I'm just wondering if I should be worried. I wanted a car wash and filled-up when I was at the gas station. It took 3.44 gallons but the gauge(not the mileage indicator) did nothing. It remained at 6 pips as it was before I filled. Any need to worry or should I just let it sort itself out?

My manual say's that if you add around 3 gal the gauge may not change. I would say it is nothing to worry about.

It takes three gallons or so to register. In your case, the gas was added to the top of the tank, part of which is not sensed by the fuel level sender. You didn't add enough for it to register. The same amount added to an empty tank would work.

Moderators, there should be a minimum requirement (in gallons) to start a thread :pound:
