I know some of you thought that the Toyota emblem was illuminated at PCD...

but trust the Japanese to come up with a mod like this..

So if I'm seeing this correctly, that emblem is illuminated

    Edit: Yep, they're illuminated!

Seems if you could paint some kind of glow paint on the existing emblem that would work to (for a while anyway).

You could always install some Blue 3M 680 reflective film behind the emblem you have already, if you can emove it without damaging the car.

Question still is where are these being offered for sale if they are being offered for sale! lol I can't put one in the front but I would definitely rig one up in the back.

Putting one in the front with the ATP would effect the Radar Criuse Control??

I would imagine, why would they make the emblem different then on cars with the AT package.

And anyways, I like the flat non recessed emblem of the ATP on the front more than I would want a lit emblem. On the rear, it's a different story...

Unless something has changed in the last 6 months, you wont...

Back when the thread was new, I did some serious looking on the Web
and found that those few in existence were one-off, DIY customs.

There was/is discussion on various Toyota forums, and a lot of
excitement/interest, but I found no evidence of them being sold commercially.

Maybe it's time for a new search, but what little vicarious interest I had,
    is no longer.

Aren't blue lights on the back of any car a no, no while moving? I know the front is.

Now if it came in a red glow, it would be a 3rd brake light enhancement, don't you think?

I like the reflective film idea - it comes in lots of colors so you could even match the body paint if you wanted. Also no wiring involved for a newbie like me.

????? Why? The only way I would have this installed on mine is if Toyota pays me $XX a mile for advertising at night.

And I have a 'thing' about car dealerships and their decal or such advertising on the rear ends of customer cars. I insist, with every new car salesrep - it better NOT be on mine when it's delivered. Would you wear a suit with "Brooks Brothers" sewn on the back collar? Keep the Real estate sign in your front yard after moving in. Tatoo "Delivered by Dr. Morgan" on the forehead after birth of your baby.
    OK, enough...
