The dealer where we purchased our 2010 Prius has a 2011 Hybrid Camry that is a Demo on the sales floor. I can get it for about $28K OTD, it has leather, sunroof, Nav, and FogLights options. I noticed however, the gas mileage is 31 City/39 Highway where as the Prius mileage is higher in the City than on the highway. Aside from the Camry Hybrid having the larger 2.4L engine, is the rest of the driveline the same? Why the lower city mileage?

i don't know the details, but it's almost the same. it's probably just the way it tests on the epa dyno. we've had ours for 3 years/40,000 miles and average 42-45 in summer and 38-44 in winter no matter what kind of driving we do. mostly my wife. the car is a dream in my opinion, quiet, smoothe comfortible, powerful. love it! if it got 60, i'd replace my prius!:)
