If there was one thing you could change about the Prius, what would it be and why?

The view from the rear window. It is the most restricted than any other car I ever had.

I would like power seats. Ones that go back another inch or two and that can also be raised in the front to provide support for your legs.

I would also like the gear shift moved. My knee almost hits it.

I would try to make the front seats more comfortable with additional padding and electronic adjustments.

Availability of the Toyota Japan accessories at my local dealer, and at a semi-reasonable price!

All of the options and "toys" that the Japanese and European drivers have access to. Leather wheel first on the list.

Better interior: materials for dash et al and design and function of seats.

Better sound system and available as options. I'd like a more powerful FM with a distance button or better antenna or something.

Bluetooth functionality. I am currently trying to decide which bluetooth phone I want and which provider. I currently have Verizon Wireless and am happy with the coverage, but I understand it is the least compatible as far as functionality goes. So now I am still debating whether to switch to Cingular.

My main gripe is the interior.

The cloth interior on my tan seats and armrests etc. shows dirt very easily. My dog leaves a stain on the arm rests of the doors when she has her head out of the window! My '98 Honda, with a grey interior, still looks brand new after seven years of dog drool.

The dash and dash self shows dust as well - oh, yes, and dog fur.

I still love both the car and the dog!

thicker material on the centre console. It seems to wear out too fast. Also, more fabric (and thicker too) on the door panels.

The touch screen audio needs to have all the functions ON THE SCREEN (Next track, pause, etc...).

Things like turning the backup beep on or off and deciding which doors will unlock should be directly available from Setup on the MFD, rather than pressing a series of buttons.

#1 - Electric seat controls. Neither my wife or I can get comfortable in these seats.

#2 - Better sound system. The system in my old Trans Am is way better. How about 4 GOOD speakers rather than 9 average ones?

If they fix these two things I would almost consider getting a second one.

Power seats, preferably with memory, easy lumbar adjust and more thigh support.

add one function to the key fob - third push of the unlock button rolls down all windows.

It would be wonderful to be able to let out some of that built up heat without having to reach into the car to push the Start button to enable the windows.
