Iceland phasing out fossil fuels for clean energy

    Iceland is probably one of the few places where this really works, owing to the abundant non-fossil energy. Making H2 in other places involves burning a lot of carbon.

    The article goes on to talk about the fuel cell cars being tested.

    Indeed... when you have more energy than you can possibly use, H2 Fuel Cell cars actually make sense! Problem is, people see this and think it would be a good idea even in places that would need to burn carbon fuels to make the "clean" H2. And it is a bummer that the H2 is so hard to transport, or these guys could survive on just that one export for the forseeable future.
