I wonder who claims the trademark on "I pass gas.â„¢"

I'd like to meet the marketing rep for this dealer. What exactly are they going for here? The woman does nothing for the ad and wouldn't encourage me to spend extra time looking at it.

If they were trying to be humorous and go for a double meaning...well they failed miserably in my opinion.

any add for the prius is almost better than none at least people will see the car

The USPTO web site says that Michael Zschoche at 219 Marine Avenue Newport Beach CA 92662 has applied for the trade mark, but it's classified as a "service mark," for whatever that's worth. It was filed on April 12 of this year and has something to do with an auto dealership. I suspect that Mikey has some affiliation with Elmore Toyota, but what prompted him to trademark the phrase is beyond me!

Like it or not, he's the man to collect the royalties.

I have to wonder what kind of yahoos are running that dealership.
That advertisement is going to turn off a good percentage of their potential customers - NEVER A GOOD THING!

Their poor taste in advertisement makes me concerned about how they would treat me as a customer.

I'm just going to say what I always say when somebody complains about ANY ad. It got your attention and you will remember it. That's what the ad agency wanted and that's what they accomplished! Good job on their part.
