Is there a European Priuschatter out there that could order a few plastic seat parts for me?

Why not just ring up and order them yourself? If you ring a UK dealer you won't have any language trouble (hopefully) and you should be protected with your credit card.

Even if you want a LHD part I'm sure they'll be able to source it for you from their European stock.

Sigma automotive might be able to do it for ya. They order a lot of Euro parts.

    A couple of queries

    1. What sort of things do you need?

    2. Why do it this way?

Might be able to help though:)

I need a gray left hand seat trim panel, the adjuster handle, and the adjuster handle screw cover for a LHD Prius with the height adjustable seat. None of these parts are available in North America in the correct color. I could give a UK Toyota dealer a call but I'm fairly certain that they would not bother with shipping to the US for something like this.

Well, you might try first, if you can determine the part numbers as per toyodiy.com

Several years ago I was able to purchase a Toyota Carina nameplate (since my daughter shares that name) from a UK dealer via mailorder.

We have a little phrase here " You don't get if you don't ask".

Our dealers are used to all sorts of weird requests. I know my local dealers are used to dealing with US part enquiries because of the US airforce base nearby. Also, we have quite a large number of Japanese grey import vehicles here, so they are used to sourcing parts for these vehicles too.

To get a pleasant response you're probably best having part numbers or clear details of the parts and colours you require. Maybe get some photos uploaded on your computer, ring the dealers, have a chat and ask if you can email the pictures over to avoid any misunderstandings. I'm sure both you and the dealer would hate the wrong part to arrive!

I have photos, just no part numbers. Do you happen to have the number and/or the name of the dealer that you are referring to?

It's a universal phrase. Sometimes translated ... squeeky wheels get the grease, or ... "No askie ... no getty" ...

New testament ... King James version : Ye have not, because ye ask not.

    Dead horse sufficiently beat.

Yes, on more than one occasion (before we traded it in) we shopped for Range Rover stuff in the UK. Different color marker lights, running board mounts, different floor mats, etc.
