Not really a cure if you have to remain on antirejection drugs the remainder of your life... but it is a good sign that medicine is discovering there are some effective procedures to remove a pathogen that can kill. Now they need to come up with a good test to determine how many of us are carriers of this immunity, grow that populations' good marrow in culture dishes, and start doling it out to the masses that are infected... And make larger batches of antirejection drugs too... cause they'll need it.
