Just picked up a 2010 blue II with floormats today, I traded in my Corvette and Q45 (clunker) for it. I only have 35 miles on it so far, but here are some of my thoughts.

#1 I wish the hatch would open slightly lower, I have less than an inch of clearance between my garage door opener rail and the hatch.

#2 I wish the hatch cover would swing up as the hatch goes up, I really hate having to manually open and close it each time.

#3 The fold down seats in the rear could be slightly lower.

#4 The AC is great in the car, it can cool down the car quickly. It is a lot quicker around town than the 2nd gen, but it seems to lack the sneaky quickness like the 2nd gen on the highway. I might just need to step on it more, but I am still trying to take it easy since I only have 40 miles on the car.

#5 Ride is acceptable, I would say it's close to a regular Japanese mid-size car. Engine is very quiet, love it. Tires are a little bit noisy, I would definitely get something else when these things wear out.

#6 I love the design of the interior, with the exception of the center display for the speed and everything. The material does seem a little cheap, but it isn't the end of the world for a $23K car.

I think I made the right choice in choosing the Prius to be the car that lugs around town running errands, plus my new puppy seems to enjoy the new car smell a lot. Let's see if she prefers the quietness of the Prius or if she prefers the blunt force in my sports car.

By the way, I only got 2 keys, a key # and the owner's manual in a rubber band. Am I suppose to get a leather book or something else? It seems too little and easy

My books came "naked", no binder. Probably depends on the dealership.

Congrats on the car. I've found deciding between blue and white to be a very difficult decision!

silver was easy. it was a free color and it was coming in, and I wanted one. Plus, silver never looks dirty. After years of white or black cars I needed a break.

Two reasons why I picked blue over white.

#1 White requires constant washing and waxing. It's a pain to get the paint to not fade without constant waxing and cleaning after a few years.
#2 It's $300+ dollars I don't want to spend :) Matter of fact, teh dealer I bought it from stock the black, grey and white II
