I love my iPod integrator. I don't know if your model has that built in or not. I have a bunch of mods--see my signature.

Some people like to fill up at 2 or three pips or even more. It's a personal choice. I refuse to fill up until the last one starts blinking. I've never had less than 1.9 gallons left even when I think I'm pushing it.

First and foremost--enjoy! I know what you mean about traffic--I actually look forward to slowdowns as my mileage improves!

1. I just received a gas card from a co-worker from BP gas station. I never have in the past used this gas. Is is good for the Pruis. Do i use regulaar or high test? I am confused about this.

You can use regular gas. In fact, that is recommended for the Prius.

2. I read in the thread about not keeping the gas below 3strips. Is this correct?

You can go down to one pip, but when it starts to flash, go fill up.

3. Should i get the extended warranty? Should I get the dealer service agreement that they provide. I believe it covers all oil changes, etc. It went for about $995.00. Can someone explain if this is worth the expense.

It's a matter for personal preference and peace of mind. I have the extended warranty from Troy on this site. I wouldn't bother with a dealer service agreement. I think I can do better paying as I go.

4. Accessories I should get for my Prius.

There are several threads on this. I have the hood deflector, mud guards and bumper guard. I also have the BT plate, exactmats and a MFD hood. I've got wheelskins and GT covers on the front. I also have a cargo tote.

Anyone in nyc with a prius. Still a little terrified but getting to know the car..

There's nothing to be afraid of. Just drive the car like a normal car.
