It's been two years or more since some of us have been running our systems, and that's long enough to be able to detect wear and tear on the batteries, control system, and charging system.

First, has anybody noticed a significant reduction in miles attained during a full discharge on a known course? I put around 900 full discharge/charge cycles on my first pack, almost all of it doing a 92 mile commute (2/3rds hiway, 1/3rd city driving). The only thing I noticed was that the voltage cutoff point seemed to change from cutting off during the 7th bar on the MFD too cutting off during the 6th bar, all within the first year. Anybody else notice this? This gives a total range that changes almost 5 miles depending when the system cuts off.

My first pack had a control system failure when "the DR" installer tried to load software upgrades to this system. I was given the choice of waiting 3 weeks for a re-conditioned system that would be shipped to my installer, or get a new system they had on hand installed immediately, if I paid the 1k$ to the installer for the installation. I chose the later. I have put around 100 full cycles on this new system, and again within the first two months I have noticed the same amount of variation on where the cutoff point is.

The new pack started with a max. of 25 miles range at 40mph, temp. in the mid 70's, only three stops, almost all in full electric mode.

Has anyone noticed a derating of system output during 90 degree days or higher? I do, especially when I do morning errands and then do some charging during mid day, and then try to do more errands after that. My system derates between half and full depending on how hard I've been discharging and charging, and how hot it is.

What kind of mileage are you getting during full tanks of gas, or extended periods of time? I have ranged from low 60,s to a max of 309mpg over a 55 day, 1800 mile run during the summer when I was tooling around the great town of Green Valley, using every trick I could think of to maximize mileage, including nothing over 40mph, never letting the system run out of electrons, keeping the engine off as much as possible, high mileage tires pumped hard, and engine block heating.

I have a 2004. What is the cost to convert to a plug in Hymotion, batteries, etc.
We are retired and most of our driving is around town and in the city.
