hello experts, am using a JDM 2014 Prius.....milage has hit 120k now....and the hybrid warning lights have popped up ..............I might sound weird....I have already reset it a couple of times and riding........ I just want to know is it ok to reset and ride for a few months before going for a new battery? thanks in advance
the hybrid lights don't necessarily mean you need a new battery. start by reading the trouble codes. have you cleaned the cooling fan?
fans are cleaned too..........2 cells are draining too quickly (techstream) during checkup.....when cells are weak and having bigger voltage differences , will a few months resetting and riding carry any hazards?

it can definitely fail at any time, but that's about all we can tell you. there's no way to put a date on it. maybe if you monitor them, you can see if they are getting worse, but idk what a complete failure point is, if there is one.
As long as you can keep the pack from getting hot, as in short drives and no long trips, you might make it... Alternatively replacing those modules and reconditioning could buy you 3 months to 3 years so you can save on how much you spend to keep your car running.
