My 07 has been sitting unused/not started since Jan 2022.

I assume the hybrid battery is shot?

Or advice on how to get it to work? Trickle charge or?

    Thanks

The hybrid battery seems to be able to withstand long periods of non-use.
But at 16 years old, it might be shot anyway.
Charge or replace the 12 V battery, put fresh gas in it and see what happens.

Have you gotten the 12 volt straightened out and everything's ready to go? Have you tried to start it?

Agree with Sam. Also build yourself a "grid charger". Cheap and easy.

if it won't start, you would need a grid charger, or hobby charger for individual modules. if you go the hobby charger route, you can replace bad modules at the same time.

Also mostly ineffective and potentially dangerous.
MOST people have no business messing with high voltage.......in any form.

I just started one sitting quite sometime . Walked up with a new 12V . Made sure it could ready it did. And the engine fired right up in front of the folks I just paid 700 bux cash for car . Other half drove it approx 55 miles home smoking the tires practically all the way . Not 1 issue . But 8 believe HV battery is shot like all of them .
