    Hoping someone can help!

I have an 07 Prius w/ 220k miles on it. The Hybrid battery was replaced roughly 18k miles ago (over a year which was warranty time) with a remanufactured one. A couple weeks ago I noticed it was having a difficult time accelerating. Switched the radio display over to see the battery and saw the hybrid battery was very low on charge. This lasted about a week. Now, the hybrid battery will not charge while driving. After about 2 minutes the car can't move out of its own way, but no lights come on and hybrid battery shows 1 bar. I can force charge it with foot on brake and gas and get it back up, but again, within a minute or two, same symptoms.

No lights have come on and no codes in any of the modules (per techstream).

Is my battery going out again or can anyone think of something else. This may be the end of the car if I need a battery again...

Sounds like the system is not noticing the discharge of the hybrid battery or is not able to charge it up without forcing the charge condition That's a very interesting one imagining you going to have to get the car on some kind of a scope system so that somebody trained looking at the scope can see what the vehicle is doing especially the hybrid part of the system when the vehicle is being driven sure it could be the battery acting up but generally that's going to give you some sort of codes for a drive motor not generating power something.

Did you replace with new hybrid battery or rebuilt hybrid battery? You either have corrosion in the battery pack's voltage sensor harness system giving bad readings or you've lost capacity in the battery pack and need reconditioning.

Also, though you might not think so, the car is still charging your battery despite the bad readings you're seeing. If you don't have warning lights (aka: error codes) and you can still drive car, even though it's mostly on engine power, the problem is with the battery pack not the vehicle's ability to charge the pack. If your vehicle couldn't charge the pack all the dash lights would be on and car would be stuck in neutral or park and wouldn't go anywhere.
