I just did a search for how to test hybrid battery and all I see are 12v battery checks. So, I created this thread.

How can I check the condition of my Hybrid Battery? My mileage has gone down to 44mpg at best and it used to be more like 54 mpg. I am seeing 39 mpg and even 33mpg. It does not seem as though the battery is assisting in hard acceleration as well... but it does move pretty quick.

Other things I may check in the future.
    fuel injectors.
CV Joint where boot has split.
Had the spark plugs replaced with the pre gapped ones Toyota said to use about 12K ago.
The battery filter and fan are super clean, but I could go in deeper to see if the cooling channels are clean... No warnings though or bad smells.
Wheel Bearings seem fine, but could check or replace them....

    Any other ideas???

How many miles on your Prius?

For the hybrid battery, search for the website of the Dr Prius app.

OK, I just ordered the sensor they reccomend. Can anyone else validate whether or not this app and sensor combo really work?

    On a 2016/2017 Prius?
